Our
Programs
Nursery and Preschool- For children 2 and 3 years old and
toilet trained we offer a program that emphasizes socialization
and building of vocabulary. Children whose primary language is not English will adjust quickly to their new language, helped by our professional, caring, multilingual staff. You can choose part-time or
full-time schedules, depending on your needs or expectations. It is
an easy transition from home to school. Children turning 4 will come away with a good feeling of what school is all about and ready for Universal PreK.
Universal PreK - Our UPK program is sponsored by the
NYC Department of Education, Region 4. The 2 1/2-hour sessions
are free for children who turn 4 during the current calendar
year. Rainbow offers extended hours for a fee to parents
who need all-day child care.
After-School - Our after-school program is limited
to students of PS 12. Our staff picks up the students at
their dismissal. The program offers recreation, group time
with specific themes, homework assistance, individual enrichment
exercises, music, drama, and much more. Full-day and half-day
care is available when PS 12 is closed and Rainbow is open.
Summer Program
- For
parents who need a safe and worthy place for their children
during the summer, Rainbow provides. Our excellent program
is limited to students 2 to 7 years old and focuses on age-appropriate
activities. It is enriched with special events, including
indoor shows and meaningful trips, followed by related arts,
crafts, reading, and writing activities. Registration begins
in February, and a nonrefundable deposit is required to
reserve a space.
Registration
Tuition
ranges from $300 to $710 a month, and the one-time registration
fee for the year is $100.
ACD and HRA vouchers are welcome.

for the upcoming school year starts in March.

We have an open-door policy, and we will lead you on a tour
around the school. You will see busy children and exceptional
artwork displayed all over, inside and outside our classrooms,
a full-size gym, and a private state-of-the-art playground.
It is always an enlivening experience to walk around the
Rainbow.
